Frequently Asked Questions

  • Topper Blocker allows a player to place one of their own tower pieces on top of an opponents tower (only level one or level two). Once doing so they block their opponent from building on it further.

A great benefit of blocking another player with this card is that you can build adjacently from the blocked tower as if it was your own. Both the blocked player and the blocker may discover/ build adjacently from this space. You may not however, build on top of a blocked tower at any point.

How do you get rid of a topper blocker? Without destroying the whole tower, simply us one of these cards; topper knocker, meltdown, fixer upper.

  • Simply put, yes. When a tower gets assimilated, it is treated as if the space has been emptied for your tower to occupy the space. Thematically speaking, the people occupying the space have been converted to the new regime.

  • No you may not. You can only pass a card on if you had it in your hand before or as the wild card was drawn. This means if a player draws an action card along with the wild card for the end of their turn, they can hand that over to the next player.

  • Thankfully, yes! Since the card dictates that it can be used “at any time” you may play it to evade a terrible instant card effect even if you just drew it moments ago.
